Japanese Ministry of
Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) estimated that Japanese special steel output
will be at 4.68 million tons in the second quarter of 2015, compared from 4.8
million tons in the first quarter of 2015.
Among them, Japanese
steel mills are going to produce special steel products around 3.08 million
tons for the domestic market and 1.59 million tons for exports.
Market participants
said the demand has weakened due to shrining consumption from auto and energysectors.
